What is your favorite brand, and why?
Stone Brewing Co.- Besides that fact that everything they brew is delicious, Stone has became one of the top breweries in the nation by having a strong brand and helping other local breweries. There is no doubt that Stone has an amazing brand from the crude, humorous labeling to their beautiful locations. Most people don’t realize that Stone also helps build the brewing community by distributing other local breweries beer. Stone has created a friendly atmosphere in a competitive local brewing market.
What do you enjoy most about AMA?
I’m still very new to the area and the AMA, so going to the first couple of events was a little intimidating. I’m also one of the youngest in the field, but was treated as an equal by members that have been in the business for many years. It blew my mind how warm and welcoming everyone is! Every member I met was genuinely willing to help me in any way possible. It’s so great that professionals in our field want everyone to succeed instead of compete. I love going to the mixers and learning in a relaxed environment.
