What is your favorite brand, and why?
There’s too many amazing brands to pick just one! Today, I’ll say Apple. It is one of the world’s most innovative brands that wows consumers year after year with new products that gives people the ability to do things they couldn’t do before.

What is your favorite quote or nugget of wisdom?
Every day I receive an inspirational quote in my inbox. Quotes are important for lifting your spirit and motivation. I love how Ken Blanchard sums up the essence of teamwork with “None of us is as smart as all of us.” Today, I’m feeling a quote from Ralph Waldo Emerson – “What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.”

Who inspires you and why?
I am inspired by many personally and professionally. I’ve had great teachers and mentors along the way in my career path who have taught me invaluable lessons and pushed me to achieve what I never thought was attainable, who believed in me when I didn’t believe in myself and took a risk on me when I was a risk. For that I am grateful.

What are you passionate about?
The secret to living is giving! I am passionate about contribution, serving, and helping others thrive. I enjoy volunteering and giving back to community including sharing my expertise with the San Diego marketing community.

How has the AMA helped you excel in your career?
The AMA has been the greatest gift in my career! Marketing has become such a fast-paced evolving industry and the AMA is an amazing resource that has helped me navigate through this landscape and advance my skillset. For me, learning and growing is a constant and never ending and it is not only important to stay relevant, but it is imperative to stay on top of all emerging trends.
