I am the Brand Communications Manager at Kineticom, Inc., one of North America’s leading telecommunications and IT staffing agencies. At Kineticom, I am the link between the marketing and sales teams overseeing all integrated marketing campaigns, culture initiatives, and branding and public relations efforts. What I love most is that my role directly impacts people on the job hunt. For me, finding a job is much more than that, and what I do helps people to align their skills and passions to ultimately find their purpose.
For nearly 7 years, I have been helping clients achieve their goals in digital and traditional marketing, public relations and branding. My expertise spans a variety of verticals including technology, consumer, healthcare and hospitality.
What do you enjoy most about AMA?
Since joining the San Diego AMA, the networking opportunities and connections I have made have been a tremendous help in my career expanding my network beyond my current industry. I am a big proponent of continued learning so I consistently take advantage of the hot-topic educational events, webinars and mixers that the San Diego AMA hosts. I have been thoroughly impressed with the members, the leadership and the heart that goes into everything San Diego AMA. It’s been an invaluable opportunity to grow, learn, collaborate and to simply surround myself with smart and forward-thinking marketers on such an intimate level.
What is your favorite brand?
Humans of New York (HONY) is an exhaustive catalog of photographs accompanied by quotes from inhabitants of New York City. It’s honest, authentic and completely heartwarming and eye-opening. It’s a glimpse into the lives of strangers and somehow manages to feel so personal. The blog was created by an independent photographer and now boasts over 8 million followers. Such a simple idea, and it has truly connected millions from across the globe. Talk about touching peoples lives. I love it!
