Students represent the future of marketing and AMA San Diego passionately seeks to connect those attending higher education institutions to the benefits and resources available to members. Getting involved in a local university chapter is the first step to connecting with future marketers to learn more about the tremendous opportunities that await. From there, students will plan and participate in various programs throughout the academic year that bring conversations with industry experts, projects that give opportunities for practicing the art of marketing, and networking opportunities to connect and be mentored by San Diego’s professional marketing members. Are you a marketing professional looking for a way to help students explore careers in marketing?
AMA San Diego Mentorship Initiative for Networking Excellence (MINE) could be for you. Through this program, students are connected to local marketing professionals to share questions and experiences about working in various industries and marketing specialties. Numerous opportunities also exist to speak to and engage with students in university classrooms and during various student-organized events throughout the year.
